LANSING, Mich. (WSYM) - A Lansing woman is in the hospital after she was shot outside her home Saturday morning.
It happened just before 2 a.m. Saturday July 8 in the 4,000 block of Pleasant Grove on the city's South Side.
When officers arrived they found a 27-year-old woman who was shot once in the back.
Officers do not believe this was a random incident and say the victim and suspect know each other.
They have not released a description of the shooter but say no arrest has been made.
The woman is being treated at the hospital. She is in stable condition.
