Clinton County police have released the name of a woman who was killed in a crash that happened Friday night.
Twenty-one year-old Ania Marie Reese, of Grand Rapids, was killed in a 2 vehicle crash on westbound I-96 just after Jones Rd in Eagle Township.
Police say Reese was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed when she lost control and went across the median. She then struck a westbound vehicle driven by 55-year-old, Michele Forell from Clarksville.
Forell was transported to Sparrow Hospital with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Clinton County Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstruction Team.
The crash happened at 6:18 p.m. and the interstate was reopened after 11 p.m. on Friday.
