A woman whose father is trying to beat cancer wants to give back to the hospital helping him. Lisa Dobbrastine donated 120 care packages to patients at Sparrow Hospital's Herbert-Herman Cancer Center. The packages include stuffed animals, cards, stickers and drinks. Lisa came up with the idea after her father was diagnosed with cancer.
Lisa says "It was a difficult time for all of us, but I just felt like if I could do something in these people's lives who are fighting this awful, awful thing called cancer, it would make me smile to put a smile on their face with something as simple as a care package."
Her father just recently finished up treatment for his cancer.
