A surprise delivery four decades in the making.
A Florida woman recently received a love letter written by her father to her mother back in 1977.
A man found the letter neatly folded up lying on a street in Orlando.
He saw the date, 1977, and realized it was a love letter.
He knew then it might be important to someone, so he posted it on the "Nextdoor" app.
Neighbors assumed it belong to a woman whose suitcase had been stolen from her car earlier in the week. And they were right.
That woman says she hadn't opened the suitcase to find the letter missing. But when she saw the letter, she recognized her father's handwriting right away.
The woman say's she is grateful for good neighbors who helped get the letter back to her.
