A woman from East Leroy was found unconscious on Sunday on the edge of the road.
The Calhoun County Sheriff's office is investigating it as a domestic violence incident.
It happened March 18, 2018, at approximately 4:00 pm, near 24th Street and Kirkwood Ave in the city of Springfield.
Sheriff Deputies think the victim was in a moving car with someone and had some sort of fight before jumping out of the vehicle.
They know the driver did not stop to render aid.
The driver is a 25-year-old man from East Leroy. He is currently at the Calhoun County Jail for an operator’s license violation.
