A woman is dead after a car crashed into a school bus at around 11:50 a.m. Monday in Jackson.
According to witnesses, a white Ford Fusion was heading westbound on Morrell Street and ran a red light, hitting the school bus, which was heading southbound on West Avenue.
One adult and three children were in the car and two adults were in the bus.
Neither adult on the bus was injured but the woman in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The three children were taken to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospitals with unknown injuries.
