Lansing police are investigating a shooting that left a woman in critical condition Thursday.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting at a home in the 1500 Corbett Street around 12:20 a.m., the Lansing Police Department said.
Officers at the scene found a 33-year-old woman with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, police said.
Lansing police say there was an altercation inside the home that led to the shooting. No arrests have been made and the suspect is a white female with red hair.
The shooting is not considered random and there is no threat to the public at this time, Lansing police said.
