The Lansing woman accused of running a sex trafficking ring is scheduled to appear in court.
40-year-old Amber Speed is charged with 8 prostitution-related crimes. Each of those charges carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
Authorities say Speed posted online advertisements of herself and at least 3 other underaged girls.
Her pre-exam conference is set for 2 p.m. in Lansing.
