A Jackson police officer was not hurt when a drunk driver rear-ended his parked patrol car he was sitting in, police said.
The officer was parked along the 200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive when another vehicle crashed into him just after 2 a.m. Sunday, July 21.
A 23-year-old Jackson woman was arrested after officers determined she had been drinking, police said.
The woman was booked in the Jackson County Jail to await charges for operating while intoxicated.
