"The driver and lone occupant from the crash in Waterloo Township last evening succumbed to her injuries at University of Michigan Health Systems last night.
The deceased is Catherine Ashby, 62 years old from Waterloo Township Michigan. "

A Jackson County woman is airlifted to the University of Michigan Hospital following a crash in Waterloo Township.
The crash happened Thursday around 6:30 p.m. on Territorial Road near M-52.
According to a statement from the Jackson County Sheriff's office, the 61-year-old driver lost control and rolled her Ford Edge several times into an empty field. She was then thrown from the car.
She was flown to U of M with life threatening injuries. Investigators say alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
The accident is under investigation.
