Tavern 109 was closed Saturday after it caught fire shortly before 8 a.m.
The owner of the downtown Williamston restaurant says an electrical fire, which started in a wall, is to blame.
A line cook was working when the fire started, but no one was hurt. Restaurant operators are taking steps to address the electrical issue and they hope to re-open Tavern 109 as soon as possible.
