Williamston man arrested for secretly taking images of unclothed women

A Williamston man has been arrested for secretly taking pictures of unclothed women. Joshua Porter, 37, was taking into custody on April 4.

The investigation was conducted by the Michigan State Police, and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Police were alerted about Porter's online activity. The crimes involved two adult female victims, and are believed to have occurred between April and August of 2016.

Porter is charged with three counts of capturing/distributing image of an unclothed person and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He has been arraigned in 53rd District Court in Livingston County.

If convicted, Porter could face up to five years in prison for each count of capturing/distributing image of an unclothed person and seven years in prison for each count for using a computer to commit a crime.
