LANSING, Mich. — Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is extending an invitation to all 2020 presidential candidates to speak at a fundraiser in Michigan.
The Michigan Democratic Party is hosting the 'Doubleheader in the D' on July 30 and July 31, the same nights the candidates will debate at the Fox Theatre in Detroit.
The fundraiser is being held at the IBEW Local 58 office in Detroit.
20 candidates will take the stage in Detroit in two groups of 10, selected at random by the Democratic National Convention.
A live drawing for the debate will air on CNN on Wednesday, July 17 to determine the nights each candidate will take the stage.
