Parents, teachers and community members in the Waverly School District are planning to rally tonight before a school board meeting at the high school.
Waverly teachers are still working without a contract. Teachers say the sticking points are class size, benefits and pay.
Parents are planning to wear red ribbons and stand with teachers tonight holding up signs outside the high school before the meeting.
The demonstration will run from 5:45 until 6:15 p.m.
The board meeting begins at 6:30 in the high school auditorium.
