EAST LANSING, Mich. — A second wave of Larry Nassar survivors say they want fair treatment and a full investigation of MSU's failure to report the former doctor's sexual abuse.

They plan to make their demands at a Board of Trustees meeting Friday morning.

Attorneys representing wave two survivors told FOX 47 News’ Cryss Walker the group is calling on the board to take corrective action and acknowledge the university's mishandling of the Nassar investigation.

Wave two attorneys say survivors are seeking for MSU to create a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to help bring closure and healing as the university moves forward.

In May, 2018 MSU reached a $500 million settlement for Nassar survivors, where $425 million was paid to the Qualified Survivor Fund.

The payments were allocated for 333 wave one survivors.

The remaining $75 million was set aside in a litigation fund.

A second round of lawsuits came after the settlement when the statute of limitations was extended for Nassar survivors.

Wave two is made up of that latest round, with 168 claims.

During Friday's meeting wave two survivors are set to address the board with their concerns and calls for fair treatment.
