The Lansing Board of Water & Light will close both lanes of traffic on Southgate Avenue between Julia St. and Samantha Ave. beginning Monday, Sept. 16.
The work is to replace a water main in the area.
Access to local area residents and businesses adjacent to the work areas will be maintained during the project. Drivers are advised to expect delays and to seek alternate routes.
The work is expected to be completed by the beginning of November.
