OLIVET, Mich. (WSYM) - UPDATE- The water main break is fixed.
Crews wrapped up at 3am Sunday morning, but the boil water advisory is still on until Tuesday.
They are waiting for the DEQ samples to be cleared indicating the water is good for use.

The water main break happened just before 6 p.m. on the south side of Olivet at the intersection of Main Street and Butterfield Highway.
Only some residents are experiencing an outage.
Crews are working to make repairs.
Water service should be restored by late Saturday night however a boil water advisory will be issued until tests indicate the water is safe to drink.
Crews hope that will happen by Tuesday.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offers the following tips for a boil water advisory.
- Wash all fruits and vegetables with boiled water that has cooled or bottled water.
- Bring water to a rolling boil for 1 minute before adding food to cook.
- Use boiled water when preparing drinks, such as coffee, tea, and lemonade.
- Wash food preparation surfaces with boiled water.
