MASON, Mich. — Cirque Italia is hosting a water circus at the Ingham County Fairgrounds.

Artists from around the world will perform on a stage made out of a water tank.

Fox 47 spoke with one of the performers who explained what a water circus is all about.

"We call it a water circus because we're having 35,000 gallons of water inside, we're playing with water," said Roxana Midi.

Midi added that the water stage designs, are different shapes on the curtain. We're not scuba diving, we're not jumping in the water - it's just for the ambiance and it's just for decorating our show."

Tickets start at $10.

The Thursday show starts at 7:30 P.M.
