Walnut Hill Country Club in East Lansing is officially closing its doors.

The club, which opened in 1921, will not reopen this golf season.

An auction group will be dealing with the club's assets.

Orbitbid.com, Inc., a division of Miedema Asset Management Group, has been contracted to liquidate all assets and equipment via one-day online auction.

The one-day auction will be online on Tuesday, March 27th via Orbitbid.com.

The auction will open at 8 a.m. and will begin to close at 6 p.m. the same day.

Some of the assets up for auction are: 
Full range of grounds equipment including Toro rough mowers, greens mowers, fairway mowers, tee mowers, New Holland TN65 & 2120 tractors, JCB 210S Loader Backhoe, Massey Ferguson 200 Turf Tractor, Tycorp MH-400 material delivery unit, Toro sprayers, Toro aerators, Terra Topper top dresser, golf carts, maintenance carts, beverage carts, maintenance tools & machinery, AccuMaster automatic reel mower grinder, automotive lift, lathes, welders, full range of commercial kitchen and bar equipment, catering equipment, restaurant tables & chairs, bar stools, flat screen tvs, sound and lighting equipment, high-end clubhouse furniture and décor, patio seating, walk-in coolers, lockers, and much more.
