Voters across Mid-Michigan will be hitting the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in a number of local elections.
One of the big races is the Lansing mayoral showdown between Andy Schor and Judi Browne Clarke. Whoever wins the election will be the Capital City's first new mayor in 12 years.
Four seats on the Lansing City Council are up for grabs.
Voters in Jackson will also be picking a new mayor. Vice Mayor Derek Dobies is challenging incumbent Mayor Bill Jors.
In East Lansing, an income tax affecting those who live and work in the city is on the ballot.
Voters in Eaton County will be deciding on a monthly surcharge to update the 911 emergency dispatch system.
