LANSING, Mich. — Tuesday night, Democratic Presidential candidates will take the stage in Detroit.

It's a two night event with ten candidates debating each night.

NEWS 10 is on the scene and is reporting that downtown Detroit is very busy.

Many people made the trip to the Motor City to show support for their candidate since it was hard to get tickets.

The debate will start at eight o'clock at the Fox Theatre.

All eyes will be on Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren who have quarreled in the past.

We'll also hear from Pete Buttigieg, Beto O'Rourke, and Amy Klobuchar.

Topics like healthcare, immigration and education are likely to be hot topics.

Fox 47 caught up with Stockbridge resident, Josh Bell who made the trip for the debate, even without tickets.

"I believe that everybody should get involved in politics," Bell said. "You don't have to love it or hate it, but at least know what's going on in your country. That's the biggest part."

Bell says he's "Feeling the Bern" just like Wardell Montgomery.

Montgomery is from Detroit.

"I think he's the real deal and I followed him for the last 30 or 40 years," Montgomery said. "Watched him on C-SPAN over the years and how he's dealt with issues related to poor, working class people."

Ryan Sebolt is the Ingham County Commissioner. He told FOx 47 that he doesn't have a favorite yet.

"I don't have a favorite right now. I'm just kind of watching for the candidates who are talking about the things that I'm talking about. Talking about what's going to make a difference for working families to make sure that they can get by month to month."

But it's not all supporters in Detroit.

Bob Kunst is hoping President Trump will be re-elected in 2020.

"I don't see any Democrat who could do anything," he said. "I think it's the weakest group I've ever seen. I think it's almost tragic."

The debate starts at 8 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. on CNN.

According to CNN's website, the Democratic presidential debates will air exclusively on CNN and will stream live in their entirety, without requiring log-in to a cable provider, exclusively to CNN.com's homepage, across mobile devices via CNN's apps for iOS and Android, and via CNNgo apps for Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast and Android TV.
