LANSING, Mich. — Holden House is about to get restorations.
Volunteers are going to be pitching in to restore the residential treatment home after damage was sustained in a fire on May 17, according to a press release.
The program is designed to serve up to 14 men with housing, meals and meeting space as they wok on addiction recovery, according to the release.
The restoration will be happening across three different dates this week.
On Tuesday, Aug. 27 volunteers worked on sub-flooring and kitchen demolition.
On Wednesday, Aug. 28 volunteers will be painting and on Thursday, Aug. 29 flooring will be installed, according to the release.
The restoration will be happening by Executive Director Patrick Patterson, staff and volunteers, according to the release.
The Holden House is located on 3300 S. Pennsylvania Avenue in Lansing.
