The South Lansing Business Association (SLBA) has teamed up with members of the community to clean up parts of South Lansing.
The association's fall clean up takes part on Oct. 24 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., kicking off at the St. Michael's Episcopal Church near Menards.
Those involved will work to spruce up a one-half square mile near I-96, Cedar, Jolly, and Pennsylvania.
Members of the community are welcome to participate.
They just need to meet at the church on 6500 Amwood Dr. at 1:30. That's where they will get their assignments and any supplies needed.
The SLBA President, Christine Zarkovich, says the event allows for networking while making a positive impact on your community. "We want to do our part to take pride in our community by supporting a cleaner, greener Lansing," she said.
