Voltage detector recall

Posted
and last updated

There's another recall you should know about. This one involves "voltage detectors" sold at Lowe's and other hardware stores.

The recall is for South-wire Non-Contact Voltage Detectors. The problem is they can give a false "no voltage" reading.

It's supposed to alert users when there's an electrical current running through wires. However a false "no voltage" reading can cause someone to be shocked, electrocuted or burned.

Contact South-wire for a replacement.
