LANSING, Mich. — A vigil will be held at the State Capitol Wednesday night at 8 p.m. to honor those lives lost to gun violence.
The event is hosted by Michigan Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence and all are welcome.
They hope people will come and participate in the vigil and honor those lost, and maybe save those who might be lost, to gun violence.
They say on their Facebook Page, "by rolling up our sleeves and engaging in the hard work of participatory democracy, we can reduce gun violence."
The group behind the event says that, "We are all part of the interdependent web of life, any loss is all our loss. It is our moral imperative; rise up together in an effort to prevent additional gun violence."
