A 22 year old man is dead after a shooting Friday morning at an East Lansing apartment complex.
East Lansing Police tell us they got a report at 2:44am of fighting and shots fired at the apartment, located in the 2500 block of Chandler.
This is the 25 East Apartments.
Upon arrival, police found a male who had been shot.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim were told is a 22 year old male from Texas.
The victim was not a student of Michigan State University.
East Lansing Police did add that they believe that there is no threat to anyone else in the area.
Police are continuing to investigate this shooting and ask that anyone with any information to please call 517-351-4220.
