Vice President Mike Pence is in Michigan to push a plan to cut taxes and simplify the country's tax code.
On Thursday, he will discuss the tax overhaul proposal at American Axle Manufacturing in Auburn Hills.
Michigan Governor Rick Snyder also will participate in the business event with Pence, along with Michigan gubernatorial candidate Attorney General Bill Schuette.
Afterwards, he departs Oakland County International Airport for Wisconsin to participate in a Republican National Committee reception in Milwaukee.
