Consumers Energy is mobilizing resources in case high winds cause any power outages this week.
The Jackson-based utility company says the weather pattern could include wind gusts up to 50mph and result in power outages. Consumers Energy says it will monitor the weather closely and respond to any service interruptions that may result from any downed power lines.
Consumers Energy customers are encouraged to report an outage through its Outage Center on its website. From there, customers can also view the outage map and sign up to receive power restoration updates.
