Work on a project to build a sound wall along US-127 finally resumed Tuesday morning.
The project, located between Grand River Avenue and Lake Lansing Road, had been delayed since mid-July due to supplier and fabrication issues with the panels.
The auxiliary lane is now closed on northbound US-127 between Grand River Avenue and Lake Lansing Road.
In addition, there is a single-lane closure on Homer Street, just before the northbound US-127 on-ramp.
Two lanes are maintained in each direction on US-127.
Construction is expected to be complete in December of 2016, weather depending.
