Both southbound lanes of US-127 at Grand River in Lansing were shut down Tuesday morning due to a semi accident.
The accident happened just after 3:30 a.m. near the Frandor Shopping Center. The semi's cab ended up on its side and sustained severe damage to the front end of the truck.
Crews were on scene for several hours cleaning up debris from the semi and fixing a damaged guardrail.
Both southbound lanes were open around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday after the semi truck was towed away.
