LANSING, Mich. — The East Lansing Police have cleared the accident that caused a severe traffic backup at I-496 and Northbound 127 near Trowbridge Road.
It happened around 9:40 a.m.
Police say that a pick-up truck driving southbound lost control and rolled over the median onto North U.S. 127 and collided with a car.
A third car came in and hit the pick-up truck.
Both drivers in the cars were taken to the hospital for minor injuries and are expected to be okay, according to East Lansing Police.
The driver of the pick-up was not injured.
