Police in Eaton County have arrested a teenager in connection with last month's robbery at a Delta Township motel.
17-year-old Andre Franklin in Lansing has been arraigned on 3 counts of armed robbery. Investigators say Franklin robbed the Motel 6 on West Saginaw Highway with a gun on Friday, October 28.
Franklin was taken into custody on Thursday, November 3 by Eaton County Sheriff detectives and members of the Lansing Police Department's Violent Crime Initiative team.
"The speed in which our detectives were able to identify this suspect was remarkable and the excellent team work with the Lansing Police Department violent crime initiative team resulted in taking this violent offender off our streets," said Eaton County Sheriff Tom Reich.
