Police say a total of 11 pieces were stolen from artists at the East Lansing Art Festival last weekend, totaling a value of $4,500.
Three exhibiting artists reported that art had been stolen from their booths over the night of Saturday, May 21. The suspects entered the artists' tents after the festival was over to steal pieces of their work.
Two of the booths were located near the Abbot-Elizabeth intersection and one of the booths was located on M.A.C. Avenue near Grand River Avenue.
