Lansing Police have identified the two men who died after their vehicle crashed into the back of a CATA bus on Friday.
Police say 46-year-old Anthony Chavez was driving the vehicle. His brother, 49-year-old Rene Limones, was a passenger. Their vehicle collided with a CATA bus at the intersection of Waverly and Bridgeport around 7:30pm Friday. Chavez died at the scene. Limones was taken to the hospital where he later passed away from his injuries.
Another car was involved in the accident. That driver was treated for minor injuries. There were 4 people, including the driver, on the CATA bus. None of them were hurt.
Police say the accident remains under investigation.
