Michigan State Police have identified the victims who were fatally shot at a Cracker Barrel parking lot in the Kalamazoo area.
Investigators say the victims were in two cars, when 45-year-old Jason Dalton approached them and opened fire.
Police say the victims are:
- Mary Lou Nye, 63, of Baroda, Mich.
- Mary Jo Nye, 60, of Battle Creek
- Dorothy Brown, 74, of Battle Creek
- Barbara Hawthorne, 68, of Battle Creek
Investigators say Dalton killed six people and injured two others in a shooting spree over the course of nearly five hours.
The first shooting happened around 6 p.m. Saturday outside a Richland Township townhouse. Police say a woman was critically injured there.
Dalton is then suspected of fatally shooting a father and his 18-year-old son outside a Kalamazoo car dealership.
The last attack happened at the Cracker Barrel at 10:30 p.m., where four women were killed and a 14-year-old girl was critically injured.
