Police have released new information about the shooting at an apartment complex near the Lansing Mall Tuesday night.
The Eaton County Sheriff's Office says the shooting appears to have been drug-related.
The 28-year-old victim was treated at a hospital and is expected to recover.
Deputies were called to the Village Green Apartments at Mall Drive West and Elmwood just after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Witnesses told them the shooter took off in a red or maroon SUV, possible an older Ford Explorer.
It was last seen near the corner of Arden Road and Willow Highway.
