LANSING, Mich. — A pet alligator is headed to a sanctuary.
The alligator that was found wandering in Owosso a few weeks ago.
Yoshi's owner was told that pet alligators are illegal within city limits.
Shiawassee County Animal Control helped him find a new home for it.
The 4-foot gator escaped from a cage on his owner's property on July 14.
The alligator was captured without hurting anyone
