One man is in custody for allegedly shooting another man in northwest Lansing.
The suspect was arrested Sunday morning and was taken to the downtown jail.
The Lansing Police Department responded to an apartment complex on N. Waverly Rd., off of Grand River Ave shortly before 5:30 PM Saturday.
They say a 35-year-old man of Lansing was shot in both arms and was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said the shooting occurred within the complex and the weapon used was a handgun.
Police said the man and the accused shooter do know each other, and this was not a random act.
