Just before midnight on May 17, an armed robbery occurred at a Lansing Quality Dairy store.

The store is located at 700 North Pine, near the State Capitol.

Lansing Police told FOX 47 that a man walked in, indicated he had a gun and demanded cash.

The suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash before running away before officers arrived. Police said that no weapon was actually seen. No one was injured.

“We’re extremely grateful that none of our team members or customers were harmed and for the thorough investigation of our first responders,” says Ken Martin, Quality Dairy President. “The suspect got away with less than $75, but any action like this against our team member is a very serious situation and we are working closely with law enforcement to bring those responsible to justice.”

Police brought in a K-9 unit but the track was unsuccessful.

If you have any information about the robbery, give Lansing police a call at 517-483-7600.

The store is open for normal operation.
