Charlotte Police are investigating a shooting happening inside a home early Sunday morning.
Police were called to a home in the 1300 block of South Clinton Street at 1:55 a.m., near the intersection of South Clinton Street and Plymouth Drive.
A 46-year-old woman told central dispatch there was a dispute with her boyfriend living at the home.
Nobody answered the door when officers arrived at the scene.
Once officers made their way inside, the woman and her 46-year-old boyfriend were found dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
A neighbor on scene tells FOX 47 News the homeowner was nice and friendly to those nearby.
One neighbor described the man that lived there to be, "quiet, and he was friendly when he was mowing his lawn, he would wave but he was very private."
Police continue to investigate.
