Police have released the names of the two people killed in a double homicide Thursday morning in Hillsdale.

Sheriff Parker advises that Alexander Lee Dombrowski, 64, died at his home, along with Timothy John Curtiss, age 56.

The shooting took place at the address of 15780 Grange Road.

Both died as a result of the shooting. Dombrowski was shot inside the residence while Curtiss was shot outside of the home after responding to calls for help from within the house.

The Sheriff's Office said they got the call around 4:00 a.m. on Thursday.

They said the suspect was 36-year-old Alexander Dombrowski. The wanted poster showed Dombrowski and stated that he was armed with a "long gun."

He was found south of the residence where the homicide took place in a field. He did not resist arrest.

They believe a shotgun was used in the murders but they have not yet recovered the weapon.

The police needed search warrants before they could assess the crime scene. They also said that at least one of the victims was family and that the suspect also lived at the house.

The police also told FOX 47 News that over the years they had received calls to that property but they didn't say for what. And that the suspect has prior arrests with the police.
