LANSING, Mich. — There is an update on the investigation into a local gym owner accused of ripping off his customers.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has filed a class-action lawsuit against Steven Millenbach of "Go workout Frandor".

We first told you about him in February.

The attorney general has more than 40-complaints from customers who say he promised them a women-only gym with fitness classes, a sauna, locker room, and showers.

But when he closed without warning -- they were told to work out at a nearby hotel gym open to men and women.

They say they were not given refunds.

The lawsuit asks the court to dissolve "Go workout Frandor" and reimburse customers.

It's also requesting a 25-thousand-dollar fine plus court costs and attorney fees for the state.

We will keep you updated and let you know how this plays out.
