A mediator has been appointed to resolve the lawsuit MSU is facing over denying a white supremacist's request to speak on campus.
Court documents show the mediation between MSU and Richard Spencer must take place no later than January 16, 2018.
A lawsuit was filed in September after MSU denied Spencer's request to speak on campus, citing public safety concerns.
The case will go to trial if mediation doesn't lead to a settlement. We'll let you know what happens.
