UPDATE: A woman is recovering after being injured in a crash where the car caught fire.
The crash happened early Sunday morning on Atwood Drive.
According to the Lansing police, the driver who ran from the burning car is now in custody.
Police say the driver was speeding when he hit an SUV parked outside a home. He then took off and an 18-year-old passenger was found unconscious.
She is now in stable condition.
Charges are expected against the driver.

UPDATE 9AM Sunday: Police are searching for a driver who left their injured passenger behind after crashing their car, causing it to catch on fire.
Officers say around 2:30 Sunday morning, the driver hit an SUV that was parked in the driveway of a home in the 900 block of Attwood Drive in Lansing.
Crews found the 18-year-old passenger unconscious. She was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash, they're searching for the driver.
