LANSING, Mich. — A man is in critical condition at a local hospital after crashing his motorcycle into a car in Lansing Township Monday.
At approximately 4 p.m., a car and a motorcycle crashed at Lake Lansing Road and Wood Street, which is near Eastwood Towne Center.
FOX 47 was on the scene and said that the motorcycle driver was injured and taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The man was wearing a helmet.
The driver of the car was not hurt, Lansing Township police said.
Police closed down the intersection at about 4:22 p.m. while they investigated. The intersection has since reopened.
The cause of the accident is under investigation but Lansing Township police say alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
