21-year-old Spencer McKenna Leach of East Lansing has been charged with first degree home invasion after police say he followed a woman into her apartment, and waited in her bedroom while she showered last week in Meridian Township.
He admitted to police that he was there, and broke in through an unlocked window. Police say he locked the apartment doors, and was wearing gloves at the time.
Police arrested Leach Sunday around 12 p.m. during a traffic stop.
Women in the Lodges apartments, well known MSU student housing, called police when a strange man followed one of them into their apartment, and waited in a bedroom for her to get out of the shower.
A roommate came home, found him, and he ran off.
