Police have made an arrest in the shootings that happened within hours of each other in Jackson County Thursday night.
Police tell us there was some sort of argument between a group of people inside a house in the 100 block of Randolph Street in Jackson around 10 p.m. Police say multiple rounds were fired.
Upon arriving, police found two gunshot victims inside the house. A 22-year-old man was shot multiple times and was transported to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital where he remains in critical condition
The second victim was a 13-year-old boy with a single gunshot wound to his back. He's currently at the University of Michigan Hospital in stable condition.
A possible suspect in the shooting was identified that is believed to have been involved in the argument before the shootings.
While investigating the original shooting, the report of a second shooting in the 100 block of W. Morrell Street came in at 12:11 a.m. It was determined a residence had been struck by bullets several times but there were no injuries sustained. This second shooting investigation led to the suspect in the original shooting being located inside the residence that was struck.
Two males were wounded including an adult, and a juvenile. Police have not released the ages of the victims. Police say one of the males is in critical condition, the other is stable. No arrests have yet been made but police say they do have a person of interest who they are looking for.
The 36 year old male suspect was arrested and lodged at the Jackson County Jail on one charge of Felon in Possession of Ammunition. The investigation into the suspect's involvement in the shooting is ongoing.
