EATON COUNTY, Mich. — A Lansing man will have a probable cause conference on May 6 regarding explicit photos that were found on his phone.
Johnnie B. Turner, 53, was arrested for possession of child sexually abusive material on Tuesday.
Police were dispatched on April 22 at approximately 5:30 p.m. to a business, looking for a "device with sexually explicit photos of minors on it."
The deputies made contact with Turner inside the business and conducted an interview with him about the photos.
He was then arrested.
He is currently at the Eaton County Jail.
The Eaton County Prosecutor's Office will review the case for charges.
He has a conference on May 6th at 1:30 p.m. and a preliminary exam on May 13th at 3:00 p.m.
His attorney will be appointed by a Public Defender.
