The Lansing man accused in the November shooting death of 27-year-old Matthew Smoke has been charged.
21-year-old Marcell D'Jon Davis was arraigned Sunday on open murder, armed robbery and felony weapon charges. He was taken into custody Saturday morning at a home on Lansing's north side.
Another suspect in the case, Derabian Carthell, has already been arrested and charged.
Smoke had been shot while sitting in a vehicle in a parking lot on South Washington on November 21. Police believe he was shot following a confrontation after leaving a business.
