LANSING, Mich. — A man who stabbed another man in Lansing on April 1 was arraigned on Tuesday.
Robert Steven Bassila, 67, from Lansing, was charged on one count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, which is a Felonious Assault.
The Lansing Police Department says the stabbing happened at an apartment in the 600 block of East Jolly Road around 8:40 p.m. Monday.
The victim's injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.
Police are telling FOX 47 that it resulted from an issue between a landlord and a tenant.
The two allegedly got into a verbal argument that got physical, leading to the landlord, Bassila, stabbing the victim, who was a former tenant.
The stabbing is under investigation.
The next court appearance for Bassila is April 11 at 1:30 in the afternoon.
